BLACKHAWK BRIGADE PREVIEW

1:00               Band Rehearsal on the Band Field

3:30               Finish rehearsal, clean up, pack instruments & props on trucks

4:30               eat (Chow Wagon), dress into uniform here, finish packing truck

5:45               leave for SV

6:30               Practice SSB with other groups while pit gets sound equipment together

6:45               National Anthem & West Coast with combined bands        

7:00               Field Shows (South Central, New Washington, NE Dubois, Crawford, Paoli, Orleans, SV)

9:20               Change out of uniform, pack equipment, Pizza Party!

10:30               leave for Paoli

11:00 Arrive at PHS

"[Attached is a] 'Contest Etiquette' info sheet I put together several years ago.  Had that ready for our Band Booster meeting, but thought I would send out to everyone.  Paoli traditionally has very classy fans, people who clap for all bands, never say disparaging things of other bands or people, and are very respectful in the stands.  So - every three or four years - I send this out so we can keep that tradition going.  I'm sure many of you witness "less than best" behavior from adults at these events.  Let's all make sure we never do the same."
